In Honour Of Labor Day

Labor Day is the best and the worst day of the year. It's great, because you try to squeeze every last drop out of summer (like that yummy lemonade I got at the EX today) but that cloud of having to go back to work or school is hanging over you at the same time. Which makes it hard to actually enjoy every last drop of summer. Anyways, in honour of Labor Day, here is a story written by me.

Setting: Chicago
Characters: Jonathan Toews, Dustin Byfuglien, Patrick Kane, News Reporter, Interviewer

News Reporter: Today's Top story! Some Chicago Blackhawks are plagued with names that sound differently than the way they are written!
Interviewer: I'm here with Jonathan Toews and Dustin Byfuglien of the Chicago Blackhawks. Dustin, have you ever been made fun of because of your name?
Dustin: absolutely. I cried most days during high school. I mean did you know my name has the word 'fugly' in it?
Interviewer: We were aware of that, yes.
Jonathan: I was bullied too. All the kids in grade 3 called me stinky feet. You know, cuz of the toes part. Even though I'm TAVES
Interviewer: Are you saying the Blackhawks have fugly toes?
Jonathan: Well I know Brian Campbell does. And that awful hair. Honestly, why can't everyone have hair like Kris Letang?
Interviewer: Do you have a man-crush on Kris Letang?
Jonathan: NO!
Dustin: He does. It's all he ever talks about in the locker room
Jonathan: Umm, Well, Umm.... at least I'm not FUGLY!
*Jonathan Toews runs away*
Interviewer: So Dustin, some of our viewers may not be familiar with the word 'fugly'. Can you explain please?
Dustin: Well Kurt, it's really quite simple...
*The Next Week*
News Reporter: Breaking News! It seems parents aren't letting their children watch the news OR the Blackhawks anymore! Mr. Kane, can you shed some light on the subject?
Patrick: It's a disgrace, really, what Dustin and Jonathan said. Could they be any less of role models? I'd be willing to bet twenty cents that that NEVER would have happened in Buffalo...
